Dear Editor,

Thank you Jean Godden! Once again you hit the mark. And did it clearly and concisely “Seattle’s not bridging the Gap” In fact? Eschewing the pages and pages of  print “explanations”  or “updates” regarding the mess of the infrastructure of this town and pointedly for us the West Seattle Bridge, this made the foggy clear. As a newcomer—does 37 years make me a local yet?---I’ve watched with wonder as the big shots discuss. Confer. Hire experts. Pay millions for opinions. And then really do what the hell they want.

It was 2013 when a crack was discovered at our much missed, much needed bridge.

Shame on all of them hindsight and all.
