Marijo Neitro Hudson

Marijo Hudson, age 83, passed away peacefully at her home in San Rafael, CA on April 14, 2021, following a courageous six-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. 

 

Born in Fauntleroy, WA to Marguerite (Meg) and Jack Neitro, she was a proud graduate of West Seattle High School, class of 1955, and later attended Washington State University. After her first marriage to Robert Steele ended in divorce in 1978, she enjoyed a twenty-three-year long marriage to Gerald Hudson, who predeceased her in 2008. 

 

Henry Sanford “Sandy” McMurray

 

As the old pilot’s poem said so eloquently, Henry Sanford “Sandy” McMurray has “gone west”, or in other words, after 99 and 1/2 years on February 13, 2021 Sandy filed his last flight plan.

 

Sandy was born July 14, 1921 in San Leandro, California to Welborn and Harriett McMurray.  His love of flying began when he soloed at the age of 19.  Flying eventually became his passion, profession, avocation, and except for his family, the core of his life. 

 

Jennie McIntyre (Ingersoll)

 

Jennie (Jan) McIntyre (Ingersoll) died peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 96 years of age. Her love of the South Sound area was evident with homes in Three Tree Point, Burien, and Des Moines.  Jennie was born on August 27, 1924 to Golda Belle Sheridan and Gomer Reece Curtis in Sugar City, CO. She was the youngest of three daughters – her sisters, Margarite and Olive, having predeceased her.
