Georgie Myrtia Kunkel

 

Georgie Myrtia Kunkel, 105, died on October 29, 2025, in Seattle, WA. She was born in Chehalis, WA, on August 31, 1920, to parents George Riley Bright and Myrtia McLaughlin Bright, the last of 10 surviving children. She spent her early years living through the Great Depression which gave her a sense of frugality. She saved rubber bands and tin foil, a habit she maintained for many years thereafter.

Jeffrey Allan Earheart, Sr.

Jeffrey Allan Earheart Sr., born October 9, 1954, in Seattle, Washington, passed peacefully in his sleep on December 13, 2025, and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jeff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Diane Earheart, with whom he built a life grounded in love—his love of Christ and his unwavering commitment to both his faith and his family.

Bruce Fellows Hone

Bruce Fellows Hone was born in Seattle, Washington on March 6, 1947, to Dorothy and JD Hone. He grew up in the Seattle area before briefly attending Central Washington University and then enlisting in the Air Force. After the Air Force, Bruce made his way to Davenport, Iowa where he attended Palmer Chiropractic College. He graduated with honors in 1973 and returned to the Seattle area to start practicing chiropractic. Chiropractic quickly became his calling and passion in life.

Robert Elwood Symonds

On July 29, 2025, Robert Elwood Symonds (Bud/Bob/Papa Bob) passed at home, surrounded by family, his long-time trusted personal caregiver, Hospice of the Northwest, and a troupe of caregivers from Eden Home Care. He said, “There are too many ladies here trying to take care of me!”  Before his incredible care squad sprang into action, all Bud needed was Meals on Wheels (his favorite time of day), and his deck, where he sat to enjoy nature and snooze.

Nguyễn Trần Thị Bê

October 1, 1952 – June 26, 2025

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Nguyễn Trần Thị Bê pháp danh Nhuận Thiện, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend, who departed this life peacefully at home on the 26th of June, 2025 at the age of 73.

Eva Tsalaky Costacos

March 22, 1930 - July 13, 2025

Eva Costacos was a beloved wife, mother, yia yia, godmother, koumbara, thea, friend, and neighbor. Though she was a mother of three, she was a second mother to countless others, always being there to talk, listen, and offer both encouragement and compliments to everyone she knew. She loved bright colors in all things, but was also a source of bright colorful light herself.

John Wesley Spridgeon Jr.

October 6, 1959 – January 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, John Wesley Spridgeon Jr., on January 5, 2025, at the age of 65, after a courageous ten-year battle with lung cancer. His strength, tenacity, and remarkably positive outlook throughout his illness were a true testament to the spirit in which he lived his life.
