Information from Eastridge Church
This Thanksgiving, for the 22nd year in a row, Eastridge Church will giveaway 1,500 turkeys and bags of groceries to those in the community who need a little help to put a holiday meal on their table. On Saturday, November 22, 9-11:30 a.m. (or while supplies last) the church will give away the 1,500 free Thanksgiving turkeys and bags of groceries to people in need at their two locations: Issaquah and West Seattle.
The 1,500 free meal packages include all the elements of a traditional Thanksgiving meal and does more than simply fill the gap for one meal.
“Over the 22 years we’ve been doing the turkey giveaway, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of families in our community celebrate Thanksgiving,” said Josh Jamison, Eastridge Church lead pastor. “But it’s about more than just about handing out turkeys—it’s about bringing hope to families and sharing the love of Jesus in a very practical way.”
The 1,500 dinner packages will be given out first-come, first-served, with no demonstration of need required to receive the assistance.
