Stuck at home? Here's a list of shows to stream that might be worth bingeing

The coronavirus situation is likely going to last for a while. You can go outside and get some exercise (always recommended), order food delivered from a local restaurant (good to support local business), or tackle some home projects you've been putting off. But at some point, you probably want to take a break from the news and take in some entertainment.

The Facebook group West Seattle Connection has a post started by Linda Murphy of recommended shows that those in the group (now with nearly 17,000 members) think are worth your time. Certainly, your taste may vary. But these are some good suggestions to keep you and yours entertained and engaged.

This is an evolving list so if there's a show you think people will enjoy, please add it with your comment below this story. This is a list of streaming series, not movies and there are plenty of those.

Need to stay home? West Seattle has plenty of delivery options for dining.

In a sense we've been getting ready for this for some time.

The Coronavirus has disrupted normal life around the world in some profound ways but notably, if this had happened even five years ago the range of options to get food delivered was nowhere near as robust as it is today. And the primary providers for this are taking the issue very seriously. Most of them will for example give you the option of leaving the food outside the door as an extra step of protection or so called "contactless" delivery. Even some grocery providers will offer this option.

Consider the type of food you are ordering when considering a delivery. Some food makes the trek from kitchen to home better than others. The time honored pizza delivery from Dominos or Pizza Hut who use their own drivers are options too. Some have better delivery fee options than others. For example Caviar.com has NO delivery fee for your first month.
