Drunk on the bus
A group of 10 or more teens were caught drinking alcohol and causing a disturbance on a Metro bus around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. They were stopped at the Burien Transit Center, 14900 4 Ave SW.
Vandalism of a school building
Around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, officers received a report of vandalism at a school located in the 11000 block of 16 Ave SW. The owner of the school said three juveniles threw rocks at the windows of the building until they shattered.
Vandalism on 2 Ave S
A man residing in the 12800 block of 2 Ave S called police around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14 after finding a large hole in an exterior glass window. Someone shot the house with a metal pellet. This is the third house that reported similar damage.
Around 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, a man residing in the 2600 block of SW 116th St. called officers to report that his detached garage was burglarized. Property was stolen by an unknown suspect. Entry to the structure was not forced.
Stolen in Safeway parking lot
A man was shopping at Safeway, 138 SW 148th St, and returned to his car to find the lugs stolen off his wheel, which was damaged in the process. The crime was reported around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan.14.
Thief came in through the window
An unknown suspect crawled into the bedroom window of an apartment in the 12000 block of 1 Ave S and stole a number of items. Officers arrived around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13 to investigate. They were able to find prints from the window.
Caught stealing at Chevron
A suspect entered the Chevron located at 18032 1 Ave S to buy a soda. When the cashier opened the register, the suspect reached forward, grabbed all of the 20 dollar bills from the till and fled the scene. The crime was reported at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13.
