Since I did not see an editor for your sports section I am directing this question to you, please feel free to pass it to the appropriate person if you are not the one this question should be presented to.

I am a long time subscriber of the Herald and in the past this wasn't an issue, but I have noticed that the West Seattle Herald has not reported any news on the sporting events, players, or teams of Seattle Lutheran High School and I'd like to know why?

All this past fall during soccer, cross country, and football season there has not been one story, picture, stats reports -nothing on the athletes of Seattle Lutheran High School.

These students/athletes are part of West Seattle just as much as those from West Seattle High and Sealth. In fact there are even reports on Evergreen High School in Burien, but nothing on an actual West Seattle school. These kids work hard and deserve some acknowledgment from their community. Many ranked in state during the fall sports but no one would know that outside of the school. I believe it is the responsibility of our community paper to share that news.

There are great things going on in that school and the students there are being ignored this year by the West Seattle Herald - for which I am very disappointed. Please make some time and space to acknowledge the students/athletes of Seattle Lutheran High School during the winter sports events, they are just a much a West Seattle school as West Seattle and Sealth are - and they did better in rankings!

They have earned recognition from their community paper, don't you think so?
