Once upon a day quite dreary
I had cause to send a query
Stating I could not sincerely
Clearly hear my dial tone
It was in the bleak December
Christmas time as I remember
I'd asked Santa for a blender
I could call my very own
To continue with my fable
My phone sitting on the table
Needed to be made quite stable
Able to make calls once more
Though I tried to be impervious
I became much more than nervous
For a call to Customer Service
Chilled me to my very core
I found their eight hundred number
Where they said they wouldn't slumber
While their blunder did encumber
Me from calling on my phone
Carefully I dialed completely
Pushing all the buttons neatly
Ready to converse most sweetly
On the problems I had known
All I heard from the inception
Were recordings sans inflexion
Whose direction for detection
Left me lost like Poe's Lenore
But when I was disconnected
Then their service I rejected
None from them I hence accepted
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"
