Murray W. Christian (Jack) DDS

Born 9-11-1910. Died 8-31-2005

Jack was born on September 11, 1910 to Dell and Cora Christian in Payette, Idaho. After graduating from High School, he joined the Navy and served on the battleship Oklahoma. In 1934 Jack met the love of his life, Bea Dunn, and were married that year. With Bea working, Jack attended and graduated from the University of Idaho and later the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a degree in dentistry. After graduating, Jack began a dental practice in West Seattle and later enlisted in the Air Force and served as a Major in Korea. Upon returning from Korea, he moved his practice to the Medical Dental Building, where he practiced until retiring in 1978. His patients dearly loved Jack, some coming from as far as Alaska to see "the best dentist in the state."

After retiring, Jack and Bea devoted full time to their interests of hiking, photography, animals, and travel around Washington.

Jack and Bea had 71 wonderful years together. They have one son, Terry and wife Doris, two granddaughters; Amanda Christian and Marlena Sherlock and husband Miguel.

At his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Rainier Veterinary Hospital-Homeless Animal Fund: 815 Rainier Ave. S., Seattle WA 98144.
