Dolores Dorn was born June 3, 1924 in Watertown, South Dakota to Nicholas and Theresa Hurkes, She passed away October 25, 2005 in Federal Way, Washington. She moved to Washington in 1943 where she met and married Nathan W. Dorn Sr. in 1946. She will be fondly remembered for her lovingly prepared home cooked meals, bread and pastries and always open arms and heart. When not busy tending to their seven children, she was helping her husband in his accounting business. She was not only a loving wife and mother but also took great pride in her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her last few years she was in Life Car e Center of federal Way where she was the shining light of the entire home. Always making people smile reaching out to touch those that needed the comfort of a touch and her daily passion of feeding the squirrels, ducks and birds outside her door. She was a true inspiration in life with nothing but compassion for those less fortunate. She will be dearly missed yet fondly remembered as a woman of magnificent grace, beauty and love. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Nathan Dorn Sr.; children, Victoria Guest, Nathan Dorn Jr., Dorinda Kopp, Nikita Dorn, Tanya Gardanar and Nanette Dorn; brother, Robert Hurkes; sisters, Darlene Berube and Frances Hodges and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her youngest child, Anthony Dorn and her sister, Esther Allen. Our thanks and appreciations to the many staff at Life care Center who cared for her over the years. A special thanks to Dr. Huseby and the cardiac unit at Swedish Hospital for giving us several more years to enjoy with her. Visitation will be held on Saturday and Monday from 9 a.m until 4:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Donald Ray Fetterly
Donald ray Fetterly was born March 27, 1950 in Seattle to Dorothy and William Fetterly. Donald passed away October 21, 2005 in a diving accident in Australia. He grew up in West Seattle and was involved in the Boy Scouts and then later the DeMolay. He attended and graduated from West Seattle High School and after graduation he worked summers at the old Rainier Brewery. He attended classes at Shoreline Community College and then later obtained his degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington. He career started at General Dynamics in the defense industry where he patented innovations that would aid in the defense of this nation. Donald's greatest passion was scuba diving and searching for sunken ships and aircraft from World War II. He is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy Fetterly and brothers, Roger and David Fetterly. He is preceded in death by his father, William Fetterly. There was private family service with committal service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Howard F. Garr
Howard F. Garr the kind and independent Uncle of Pam, Ben, Peggy and Patty Reside was found deceased at his home Saturday October 22, 2005.
Uncle Howard was born January 6, 1930 in Seattle to Irene and Harold Garr. He spent time with the Army in Germany, returning home to West Seattle and obtaining work at Elliott Bay Mill and than Ball Glass Manufacturing where e retired.
Baseball and CSI have lost one of their biggest fans.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, mother and father and sister JoeAnne Garr Thomas.
A graveside service is scheduled at Tahoma Cemetery near Kent on Wednesday November 2nd.

Mildred Cora Trulin
Mildred Cora Trulin, aged 99, born October 28, 1905 in Panora, Iowa passed away on October 23, 2005 in Seattle, Washington just five days shy of her 100th birthday. Mildred married Harold M. Trulin Sr. on May 6, 1922 and together they moved their family to Seattle in 1936 to start a new life in the Greta Northwest- the land of opportunity. Real Estate was their calling and for forty successful years, she and her husband owned and operated "Trulin Realty," in West Seattle.
All would agree that she had indeed earned the title of: "Family Matriarch." She had a habit of facing adversity head-on and with a stiff upper lip, giving inspiration to others that knew her or knew of her. She was a proud woman of strong convictions, having a professional work ethic and was fiercely independent. She was an avid gardener, good cook, mentor, great conversationalist, and a caring individual in her many life-roles such as: Daughter, Sister, Friend, Wife, Mother, Caregiver, and Grandmother. She loved the great outdoors and all it had to offer, such as: mountains, lakes, the ocean's, fresh air, fishing, clamming, gardening, camping, traveling and hunting. She devoted her life to her family, always providing for those who needed her. Many family members made a habit of dropping by to see "Meme," as she was so fondly referred to, where she always had something ready and willing to share with visitors. Whenever duty called, she was there. She gave continual support, praise, and inspiration to those she loved, instilling and teaching the values of hard work and the dedication necessary towards fulfilling and obtaining one's dreams. She had concluded that there was no better place to live than the Greta Northwest and it will be there, that her remains will be given a final place of rest.
She is survived by her Son: Norman Trulin, Daughter-in-law: Marilyn Trulin, Grandson: Bruce Adams, grandson: Steven Adams, Granddaughter: Pamela Cox & husband: Steven Cox, Granddaughter: Kimberly Edson & husband: Randy Edson, numerous Great and Great-Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Husband: Harold M. Trulin Sr., Daughter: Helen M. Olson, and son: Harold M. Trulin Jr.
