Dear Editor,

My name is Patrick Tuttle, and I live in Richfield, Ohio. A couple of weeks ago, while on a visit to Seattle, my girlfriend Becki and I, decided to visit Alki Beach.

After the local shuttles stopped their runs to the water taxi back to Seattle, we found it hard to get back to that point. Along comes Phil and Barney, who not only gave us directions to walk back to the water taxi, they WALKED US THERE !

I just want to thank these two men for going out of their way to help strangers in need.

From what we could tell, this area was a great place to be. I will definitely visit again when I come back. I will also get my twin brother down there from Port Townsend.

Thanks again, to these two men, who made our journey memorable.
