Charles A. Learmonth

Charles A. Learmonth, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 15, 2006. Born April 12, 1932, Charles and his wife worked and lived for 40+ years in West Seattle Alki Beach until 1999 when they moved to Port Ludlow. He is remembered as a strong, caring man who adored his wife, Barbara, and loved his family, including their dog Meghan. Also known as Uncle Charlie and Grandpa- he could always bring a smile to anyone and everyone. He was a member of the West Seattle Eagles, enjoyed his Jim Beam bottle collecting, the Puget Sound Waters and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara, his stepchildren, Pam, Ginger, Brenda and Charlie and his Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on April 8, 2006 between 2-4 p.m. at the West Seattle Eagle Club located at 4426 California Ave SW in the West Seattle Junction and the phone is (206) 938-4426.
