Marie was born November 26, 1913 in Mt. Vernon, Washington and died June 7, 2006. She married Hugo in 1940, who preceded her in death in 2002. They lived in Bellingham after WWII, and moved to Seattle in 1951. Marie was a long time member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed activities with the Ryther charity, gardening, traveling, time at the cabin and especially time with the family. She is survived by Sue (Don) Bird, Steve (Jan) Holmer, grandchildren Jeff (Cheryl) Bird, Chris (Nicole) Holmer, Andrea (Scott) Holte, and great granddaughter Kyla Holte. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church at 8316 39th Ave SW.
