CAVINESS

On July 23, 2005, Virgie Caviness passed away, leaving a legacy of her life in both family members and business accomplishments.

Retired for the last 20 years, Caviness, 100, owned and operated the Custom Drapery Company. In her lifetime, born August 14, 1904, she was an accomplished seamstress, short order cook, waitress, wife and mother. Virgie was a friend to many and an active church member at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

Her three children preceded her in death; Marieda Faye Coplen, Vincent Weekley and Eudell Weekley, as well as her husband, Sterling Caviness. She leaves many grateful descendants behind; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

A funeral service was held at Our Saviour 's Lutheran Church in Burien on August 9. Arrangements were by Evergreen-Washelli, Seattle.
