The staff and clients of the Burien Arts Gallery will sadly miss Violet Timms, who died August 1 of lung cancer.

"Vi" was the epitome of the perfect art gallery volunteer - knowledgeable, efficient, witty and gracious. Her charming British accent was a delight to the ear.

Vi Timms was a good friend and truly a "class act."

At her request, there will be no service.
