Samrawit Zeinu, who volunteers at The Kenney was on hand there selling Christmas Wreaths and representing Global Visionaries, selling coffee for a trip she is planning to Guatemala as well as for a 'Project Fund' whose purpose is to build schools and supply hospitals in that nation.
"Each year different high school students go to Guatemala for two weeks to assist other Guatemala teams," said Zeinu.
Also at the Kenney, the Cornucopia Band played. This 24 piece band performs music from the late 19th century up to 1930 when band concerts, jazz and ragtime were highly popular.They are scheduled to appear at Kenyon Hall at Saturday and Sunday, November 20-21, 7:30 PM at 7904 35th Avenue s.w.
In the Junction, Gail Ann Wodzin "local photographer" and her mom Harriet sold home made Jornals, Pierogi soaps and pins, along with photo cards and jewelry at the West Seattle Senior Center.

At the Wild Rose Antiques Marilyn Van Cleave Ullin, was talking about her book Crow Bar - Poetry Of The Crow And Other Birds. She is a first time author and first time photographer. It tells the story of crows in West Seattle. "All of the birds in this book are from West Seattle."
At Twilight, Northwest Anvil 2 was the featured show and had many metal sculptures on display. Lisa Geertsen and her husband Andy Glakney from Firelight Forge put on the show. She teaches at the Pratt Intitute and some of the work on display was by professionals, some by students. "Most of those showing are members of the Northwest Artists Blacksmith Association," said Geertsen.
