He graduated from Stadium High School in Tacoma in 1945, was in the US Navy from 1945-1948 and then the Naval Reserve until 1953.

Loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather are the best word to describe Jerry. He was also one hell of a good Railroad Man. We are very proud of him and miss him tremendously.
Jerry enjoyed traveling and being with his family. Hawaii, Mexico, Palm Springs, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, and Anderson Island motor home and boat trips were some of his favorites.
He had a great wit and sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He formed many strong and lasting friendships over his life.
