Information from the King Conservation District
The King Conservation District, a non-regulatory non-enforcement organization, provides education and technical assistance to landowners on the wise use of natural resources. Join the King Conservation District to learn about the importance of native plants in Washington and discover ways to incorporate them in your landscape to improve aesthetic, benefit wildlife habitat, and save money with the annual King Conservation District Native Plant Sale!
Presenting at the class will be King Conservation District’s resource specialist/plant expert Jacobus Saperstein. Learn about incorporating native plants on your property and discover the benefits to make native plants work for you! Don’t become overwhelmed by the vast choices of native plants out there. Learn where to plant certain species and what species will work the best on your particular property to reduce plant mortality and increase savings.
These classes will be located in different locations of King County on different dates.
The first class will occur on Thursday, January 25, 2017 from 7pm to 8:30 pm at the Grange; 145 NE Gillman Blvd, Issaquah WA
The second class will occur on Tuesday, January 30, 2017 from 7pm to 8:30 pm at the Redmond Regional Library; 15990 NE 85th St, Redmond WA
The third scheduled class will occur on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Renton Public Library; 100 Mill Ave S, Renton WA
