Chief Sealth stomped on Sultan in a District 2 Class 2A semifinal Saturday.

The Seahawks advance to play Nathan Hale for the championship at 7 p.m. Friday at Steve Cox Memorial Park's Mel Olson Stadium.

Evergreen 4, Cleveland 2

Evergreen stayed alive in the District 2 Class 2A playoffs with Saturday's victory.

The Wolverines now must win two straight games to advance to state, starting with a 4 p.m. Tuesday clash with Cedarcrest at Steve Cox.

Mount Rainier took a loss in a Saturday non-league crossover.

The Rams open District 3/4 Class 4A play Tuesday, visiting Union of the Vancouver area at 4 p.m.

The Beavers now battle O'Dea in a 7 p.m. Monday semifinal at Steve Cox.
