Kennedy Catholic High School of Burien won two of the three relays and took home the team trophy at the Class 4A girls swimming and diving meet Saturday morning at the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
The Lancers scored 275 team points ahead of the 260 score of Lincoln of Seattle and the 229 points of West Central District rival Curtis.
Kennedy Catholic opened the meet by winning the 200-yard medley relay in a time of 1 minute, 47.54 seconds on the efforts of Hailey Weiler, Parker Marvin, Lucy LaBella and Cecilia Pallotta.
Avery Jackson, Kaitlyn Vu, Avery Stender and Weiler capped off the meet by taking first in the 400 freestyle relay in 3:31.74.
In between Jackson, Vu, Pallotta and Marvin took second in the 200 free relay in 1:37.52.
Several Lancers also came in strong individually.
Weiler won the 100 free in 50.31 and the 100 backstroke in 55.01.
Vu won the 100 breastroke in 1:03.99 and took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:08.10 just ahead of Parker's 2:08.31.
Jackson was second in the 50 free in 24.29 and third in the 100 free in 52.26.
Marvin placed third in the 100 breast in 1:05.17.
Stender came in 10th in the 500 free in 5:21.36 and 11th in the 200 free in 1:58.35 with LaBella 11th in the 100 butterfly in 1:01.01.
Competing but not scoring points for the Lancers were Natalie Nguyen in 21st in the 100 fly in 1:05.51 and Pallotta in 23rd in the 100 free in 58.81.
Mount Rainier had two competitors at state who did not score.
Callie Krisel of the Rams came in 19th in diving with 171.50 points and teammate Alyse Rinaldi took 23rd in the 100 back in 1:06.32.
