Foster's stay at the Yakima Valley Sun Dome was a short one.

The Bulldogs took a narrow 74-71 loss to Grandview in their loser-out state Class 2A boys basketball tournament opener Wednesday evening.

Grandview went on to play in a Thursday state quarterfinal.

Foster qualified with a 72-48 state regional rout of Bainbridge this past Saturday.
