Information from Burien Actors Theater
You are cordially invited to the CABARET Show, "A Baritone And A Tenor, What Could Go Wrong", by famous local entertainers John B Cooper and Robert McPherson on Monday, April 6th at 7:00 pm. This is a benefit to support local theatre groups and/or local charities, 100% of the proceeds go directly to the entertainers and the community. The show location is Angelo's in Burien, 601 SW 153rd Street, in the restaurant's Michelangelo Room.
We are HONORED to have the very talented John and Rob back by popular demand for our April show. The requested donation is $20 per person for the show. Cash at the door is requested to avoid charge-card fees. If needed, cards will be accepted.
Baritone John B Cooper is known for his wide range of versatility with a career of over 40 years in opera and on the musical theatre stage. He has performed in numerous productions at Seattle's 5th Avenue theatre as well as many other national and regional theatres. His discography includes work as Joseph in the Birth Of Christ narrated by Liam Neeson on Sony BMG Masterworks and shown worldwide on PBS. He reprised this role in Austria, The Vatican and at Carnegie Hall in New York. John is also known as a Seattle Mariners favorite, singing the National Anthem at over 120 games in the last 25 years. John will be joined by Grammy Award winning Metropolitan Opera tenor Robert McPherson, aka The Drunken Tenor. John and Rob have been performing together for over 25 years, most recently at Seattle Opera in "A Very Drunken Christmas Carol". We are so pleased and excited to be joining the BAT Cabaret series. Doors open at 5:30pm for those ordering dinner and drinks. Angelo's is popular for their excellent food; see their menu at angelosofburien.com. Of course, food can be purchased with your debit/credit card. The show starts at 7:00, done by 8:30 pm. (Angelo's has plenty of free parking.)
