A male bicyclist was killed in a collision with a truck around 7:30AM near the Fauntleroy Ferry dock on Monday morning. Traffic in the area was blocked and was being diverted down Fauntleroy and then up Brace Point Road.
The truck involved was believed to be from Vashon Trucking and had come off the ferry though the exact circumstances of the collision were not immediately clear.
Emergency Medical personnel on the scene declared the bike ride dead on the scene.
An investigation was started immediately.
