Eleven pounds of narcotics were recovered in a recent drug bust by the King County Sheriff's Special Emphasis team.

In a significant blow to local drug trafficking, the Southwest Precinct Special Emphasis Team, aided by K9 Quinn, successfully dismantled a segment of a Drug Trafficking Organization on June 21st. The operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the removal of 11 pounds of illegal narcotics from the streets.
The high-stakes bust, which took place on Father’s Day, required a coordinated effort from numerous detectives and deputies across the agency. Officials highlighted the dedication of those who sacrificed their holiday to see the investigation through to a successful conclusion.
During the operation, law enforcement seized a substantial amount of illegal substances and assets, including:
- 6.6 pounds of Cocaine
- 4.4 pounds of Fentanyl
- $51,804 in cash, identified as drug proceeds
- Two vehicles used in the trafficking operation
The three suspects, whose names have not yet been released, were booked into the King County Jail. They face multiple drug-related charges as the investigation into the Drug Trafficking Organization continues.
