Rainier Beach posted the most dominant performance on the gridiron with a 55–0 shutout against West Seattle on Saturday. Kennedy Catholic also delivered a strong defensive effort, shutting out Mount Tahoma 33–0 in Thursday action. Other decisive football wins included Foster defeating Foss 40–6 and Roosevelt topping Chief Sealth 31–6. In closer action, Inglemoor held off Highline for a 17–13 victory, while Mossyrock defeated Evergreen 20–8.
In girls soccer, defensive shutouts and narrow one-goal margins highlighted the schedule. Chief Sealth and Skyline both earned 6–0 shutout victories over Foster and Ballard, respectively. Several matches came down to the wire, with Inglemoor defeating Highline 3–2, Kennedy Catholic topping Stadium 2–1, and Chief Sealth edging Annie Wright 2–1. Defensive battles resulted in 1–0 wins for Juanita over Highline and Northwest over Foster, while Chief Sealth and Highline played to a 1–1 tie on Saturday. Additional shutouts included Eastside Catholic over Kennedy Catholic (3–0), West Seattle over Peninsula (2–0), and Tahoma over Mt. Rainier (2–0).
Volleyball competition was highlighted by multiple clean sweeps and a five-set thriller. Chief Sealth, Lakeside, Highline, Cleveland, and Ballard all recorded 3–0 sweeps over their opponents. Chief Sealth also swept three sets against Garfield. In the week's most competitive volleyball contest, Tyee outlasted Lindbergh 3–2. Four-set victories were secured by Tyee over Cedarcrest (3–1), Foster over Lindbergh (3–1), Foster over Evergreen (3–1), and Renton over Evergreen (3–1).
