Today, October 18, 2026, the neighborhood comes together for the annual Fauntleroy Fall Festival from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. For more than 24 years, this autumn tradition has brought the community together to celebrate the season. This year's gathering features an updated setup, starting at 1:00 PM across the street at the Fauntleroy Church and YMCA, located at 9140 California Ave SW in Seattle.

Admission to the festival is free for all ages, with activities taking place across indoor and outdoor spaces rain or shine. Attendees can look forward to cherished legacy traditions, including salmon hat making, pumpkin decorating, and birdhouse building. The festival line-up also features bouncy houses, a petting zoo, live entertainment, community vendors, and an appearance by The Falconer. Visitors can also participate in neighborhood favorites such as cake trotting and the pie eating contest. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Organizers remind visitors that parking is restricted this year because the lot behind the schoolhouse is unavailable. Street parking along California Ave SW is limited, so arriving early, carpooling, or taking transit is encouraged. Public transit options include King County Metro's C Line along California Ave SW, and festivalgoers coming from Vashon or Southworth can arrive via the nearby Fauntleroy ferry terminal. The event is supported by local volunteers and community partners.
