My brother had a reel to reel tape player back in 1970 along with a collection of tapes, including artists like Cream, The Beatles, Blood, Sweat and Tears, and most indelibly for me, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

We would sit in his bedroom and marvel at and dissect the songs, lucky to be alive at the cusp of the new, very good technology of the recording industry.
