Fugitive nabbd after routine traffic stop

1. Federal Way police reported that they apprehended a man with an outstanding warrant for his arrest after pulling over his vehicle during a routine traffic stop. The man, Michael D. Christ, was driving a white 1996 Ford near 32000 Pacific Highway South when officers stopped him for a failure to transfer the vehicle title. Upon searching his record, officers determined that he was driving with a suspended license and that he had a warrant for his arrest. Federal Way police placed Christ into custody and transported him to the King County Justice Center in Kent for booking. Other traffic offenses, the report states, are still under investigation.

2. Federal Way officers arrived at the scene of a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex at 125 Southwest Campus Drive, building number 30. The police made contact with the complainant, who advised that his live-in girlfriend was intoxicated and acting irrational. During the investigation, it was determined that no assault had occurred. Officer also determined that no physical injuries were inflicted and neither party complained of any physical pain. The parties agreed to separate and the girlfriend left the residence with her father. The event took place around 1:15 a.m. on December 4.
Car thieves ram Federal Way patrol car during pursuit
3. On December 4, at approximately 2:25 a.m., Federal Way police located a confirmed stolen vehicle traveling near 30911 1st Avenue South. The vehicle, a 1996 Chevrolet, was then used to ram a Federal Way Police patrol car. After that incident, the driver then failed to stop for police emergency lights and siren and attempted to elude police from Federal Way down to Tacoma, where PIT was used to end the pursuit. Once arrested, police located a controlled substance in possession of the driver. The sole passenger of the vehicle was arrested on a confirmed juvenile warrant out of Pierce County. The driver was sent to the King County jail and the passenger was turned over to his parents.
Car thieves swipe '91 Toyota from Winco parking lot
4. Federal Way police responded to a call from the victim of a car jacking that took place around 7:11 p.m. on December 4. The registered owner of a gold 1991 Toyota told Federal Way officers that he and his wife were shopping at the Winco store at 106 Southwest Campus Drive when they returned to the parking lot and found the Toyota missing. The victim checked the surrounding area for the vehicle, but failed to locate it. The driver told Federal Way police that the vehicle has a value of roughly $3,000. There are no witnesses or leads in the case, and officers have closed the investigation pending new leads.
Woman assualted by unknown Hispanic male
5. Federal Way police arrived at the scene of a reported assault that took place near the Washington Mutual Bank at 32000 Pacific Highway South. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted the victim, a woman, who stated that she had been pulled into a vehicle and assaulted by a Hispanic male. The unknown man had kissed her. The victim then pushed away her assailant and called the police. The even took place around 2 a.m. on December 3.

6. A man contacted Federal Way police to report vandalism by fire that had been inflicted on his vehicle. The report states that the resident of a house on the 200 block of South 373rd Street told officers that he saw two people hanging around his blue 1987 Buick around 3:30 a.m on December 3. The victim attempted to make contact with the suspects, but they ran off. When he returned to his car later, he noticed that it was on fire. South King Fire and Rescue arrived and put out the blaze. No suspect information or evidence is listed in the report.
Burglars strike vehicle in garage while suspect is at home
7. The resident of a home on the 2900 block of South 296th Place contacted Federal Way Police to report that an unknown person or persons had stolen various items from his vehicle while parked in his garage. The report states that the owner was at home with the garage door open. He was only in the house a short while, and when he returned to his vehicle, which was parked in the garage, he discovered that the car doors were open and several items were shuffled about in his vehicle. He then determined that several items were missing from inside, including two tool boxes, valued at $500, as well as two bags, valued at $20. The bags also contained credit cards and identification, as well as check stubs with the victim's Social Security numbers on them. There are no suspects in the case, and officers have closed the investigation pending new leads.
Man loses wallet, but recovers debit cards
8. A man, who lives near 1900 Southwest Campus Drive, contacted Federal Way police to report some lost property. The report states that the man dropped his wallet when he got out of his car. The wallet contained credit cards, pictures, driver's license, work ID and $12 in cash. The rental office called the victim and said that some of his property had been found and that he needed to come pick it up. When he arrived, the rental office only had his debit card. The man is still missing his driver's license, cash, pictures and work ID.
