1. The resident of a home on the 30000 block of 4th Avenue Southwest contacted Federal Way police to report that she had been assaulted by a man she knew. Officers arrived at the scene of the domestic violence assault and discovered that the suspect had already fled the premises. The incident took place shortly after midnight on the morning of February 26. The report states that the woman possessed an active no contact order against the suspect, prohibiting the suspect from contacting the victim in this case. The report did not indicate whether or not the police eventually apprehended the suspect.

2. Federal Way police witnessed an assault between an unnamed man and woman that took place in the parking lot of a business at 1910 South 320th Street. The incident occurred sometime around 2:30 a.m. on February 26. The suspect, a woman, was spoted arguing with the victim in the parking lot when she scratched him on the nose, causing the suspect to bleed from his wound. Officers apprehended the woman and arrested her. Federal Way police charged her with fourth-degree assault / domestic violence and booked her in the Enumclaw jail. The suspect was driving a turquoise 1995 Mazda.

3. The resident of a Federal Way home on the 33000 block of 10th Avenue South contacted Federal Way police to report that some mail had been stolen from him out of his locked and gated mailbox. It did not appear that the victim had any mail stolen initially, the report states. However, in later January, the victim received a letter from the Sumner police indicating that he had been a victim of identity theft. The Sumner PD responded to an assault case, and during their investigation, they determined that the suspect had attempted to steal the victim's identity.
Federal Way police bust trespassers involved in vandalism
4. Around 9 a.m. on February 26, Federal Way officers followed up on a report of trespassing and possible vandalism in progress at the Brigadoon school at 3601 Southwest 336th Street. The police made contact with a representative from Brigadoon, who stated that on February 15, he caught two male suspects in the act of spraypainting the school the street signs and school with the letters MS-13. The representative took the two males inside the school and told them to give a statement about the incident. The witness later found one of the males had a trespass warning and wanted to report it.
