1. Officers arrested a man at the Home Depot store at 1715 South 352nd Street after the suspect attempted to pass fraudulent ch

2. Federal Way police responded to a domestic violence/assault call at 1137 SW 320th Place. At the address, officers found a man threatening to damage the victim's car with a bat. The suspect had pushed the victim against the wall earlier and destroyed the victim's phone to prevent further calls to the police. The suspect, a juvenile, was arrested on charges of making threats, harassment and simple assault. He was booked in King County Juvenile on those charges.
3. Federal Way PD recovered a stolen green 2004 Ford at 27202 Pacific Highway South. Officers have a name of a suspect in the theft.
4. Officers arrested the driver of a silver 1985 Mercedes at 34212 18th Place South on a cocaine possession. The vehicle was impounded.
5. Officers arrested a woman at 30224 29th Avenue South for malicious mischief and domestic violence. The woman destroyed her ex-husband's cell phone and his vehicle window, causing damage estimated at $500. The charge was expedited to 3rd degree malicious mischief due to a lack of criminal history. The woman was booked in the King County Jail.
6. A Comcast employee reported the theft of some items from his work truck parked outside 2653 SW 333rd Place. The man left the windows rolled down and the radio on, and claims that he was never more than 70 feet from his vehicle. He returned to find the screen from his GPS unit missing. Police have no suspects, although the man said he witnessed several people walking by his vehicle earlier.
7. A student reported the theft of his band instrument from Lakota Middle School at 1415 SW 314th Street. His father told police that the boy left his instrument in the band room at the school with all of the other students' instruments. When he returned for it at the end of the day, the boy found it missing. The only thing left behind was the ID card.
8. Officer Hanson of the Federal Way PD stopped Kenneth N. Clark for speeding in his 1995 Dodge near 2100 SW Campus Drive. Officer Hanson found out that Clark had an outstanding Des Moines warrant. Des Moines PD picked up Clark after Hanson transported him to 272nd and Pacific Highway South.
9. Officers contacted a 68-year-old man who lives on the 1900 block of Southwest Campus Drive. CPS notified police that the man was showing his granddaughter pictures of vaginas on his computer while she was sitting on his lap. The report indicates that the man was grooming his granddaughter by showing her pornography. The child's mother told officers that she did not want her daughter "to be f**ked up more than she already is" by allowing the police to interview her. She yelled at the officers and told them "it did not bother my kid." Case closed, victim refusing to cooperate.
10. A woman at 28723 15th Avenue South called police to report that her stepson had unlawfully taken her 1987 Suzuki from her residence.
11. Officers responded to a robbery at 4138 SW 328th Street, where a thief had broken into the residence using a sharp pointed tool to break the glass on the front door. Only a checkbook was taken, but the thief did $750 in damage to the door.
12. A juvenile was released to his grandparents after officers caught him shoplifting at the Fred Meyer store at 33702 21st Avenue SW. The boy was observed putting items in his backpack and then attempting to pass the manned registers before exiting the store. The total value of the items taken is $30.
13. Officers responded to a domestic dispute at 1660 South 333rd Street, #29, where a couple was having an argument. The suspect, a man, refused to leave the residence. During the dispute, the man reportedly broke the victim's cell phone. The victim told the police that the argument had been verbal only and denied any injury and to prosecute for malicious mischief. The initial caller left prior to police arrival and wouldn't answer his cell phone or call box.
14. Officers involuntarily committed a man at 28708 18th Avenue South, #W201, where a suicidal subject had two knives in his possession. He told officers he was going to kill himself. He also said he was having a homosexual relationship and now has AIDS and wants to die. He told officers that he wanted them to shoot him in the head with their guns. He has been depressed lately because his girlfriend broke up with him.
15. Officers responded to a fight that broke out at 2440 South 273rd Place between two people.
16. Federal Way police committed a man who was wandering around 31200 Pacific Highway South and was nearly hit several times by cars. The suspect told police that he was hearing distractions in his head and they were bothering him. The man said he was on two different medications and was not wanting to take them.
17. Officers arrested Angela L. Jackson at 31009 Pacific Highway South for her involvement in a fraud. Another suspect fled the scene, but Jackson remained and was taken into custody on an outstanding Federal Way warrant.
