Shirley A. Hoover, born February 18, 1928 in Seattle and passed away December 20, 2005 in Seattle. She was a long time member of the West Seattle Yacht Club and was an active bowler in West Seattle. Shirley retired from Boeing after twenty-nine years. She is survived by her brother, Jim Carter, and wife Kathy, and sons, Bill, Bob (Thelma) and Jim Hoover; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death of her husbad Jim. A celebration of Life will be held from 1 p/m/ until 4 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 8622 22nd Avenue SW, Seattle, Washington 98106. Remembrances may be made to Medic One.
