Catherine E. Burton, beloved wife of Glen S. Burton went to join our Lord on February 2, 2006. Catherine was born in 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota where she grew up with three sisters and four brothers. Catherine moved to the Seattle area after WWII where she married Glen in 1954 and gave birth to her only son, Michael in 1957. Catherine was a long time resident of West Seattle and attended Holy Rosary Church. Catherine loved to fish and travel throughout the northwest with Glen and Michael. She will always be remembered for her support, love and inspiration she brought to everyone around her. For the last ten years Catherine was challenged by Alzheimer's yet she never forgot how to smile and continued to brighten the lives of those who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Glen, son, Michael, grandchildren, Adam & Siena, and one sister, DeeDee Klanhammer. Memorial Mass in the Chapel at Providence Mount St. Vincent, 4831 25th Ave SW, Seattle on Monday, February 13 at 9:30 a.m. Remembrances in Catherine's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
