Around 9 p.m. Tuesday, a citizen called 911 after hearing eight or nine gunshots coming from the vicinity of Hamilton Viewpoint. Shortly, a driver reported that someone in a black Acura Integra had shot his car at the park. A witness heard two shots and saw an Asian male stand up and lean out the passenger-side window to shoot several more. During an earlier patrol of the park, an officer had noted four males in a car matching that description. The car was registered to a Highland Park address. Officers found the suspect vehicle and witnesses positively identified the driver. The three other suspects in the car remain at large. The victims were unharmed, but their car suffered $1,000 damage, including a shattered windows and bullet holes in the spare tire. At the scene, officers recovered four fired 40-caliber cartridges and an unfired .380 cartridge.

An officer driving past 16th and Webster on Saturday night saw a male teen laying halfway into the street from the sidewalk. Two friends were trying to get him to stand up. All three teens were intoxicated. Medics sent the kid in the street to Highline Hospital after the friends admitted he had ingested 9-11 shots of Jack Daniels in the previous 1.5 hours. The friends were released to parents. Officers also confiscated two marijuana pipes and some pot from the threesome.
After witnessing a suspicious transaction near 18th and Henderson, officers contacted the parties. A man and woman in their twenties were arrested and booked into King County jail for investigation of drug charges (including _intent to deliver_, or drug sales). The driver, a known felon, was also carrying a stolen pistol. In addition to the gun, officers seized 6.6 grams of crack cocaine, $1,495 from the woman_s purse, $97 from the car_s front seat, and $101 from the driver. The currency was in denominations consistent with drug sales. A third woman was arrested during the incident after she interfered with the arrests and became confrontational with officers. She was booked into King County Jail for investigation of obstruction.

Sunday evening, 911 operators received reports of an all-terrain-vehicle racing at high speeds on 22nd SW. A few hours later, an intoxicated 49-year-old man was booked into King County Jail for investigation of eluding after driving an ATV recklessly through residential areas. He ignored orders to pull over and, according to officers, the man _blew through_ the intersection at Delridge and Cloverdale with slowing or stopping.
