DV suspect vanishes; woman offers no help in locating abuser

1. Police responded to a verbal domestic violence report on the 2200 block of South Star Lake Road. Upon arrival they heard a male and female arguing inside the apartment, and as they knocked on the door, they heard a commotion on the balcony. However, as they entered the apartment and did a security sweep, they found a woman alone who denied being in an argument, in danger or in need of police assistance. There was no evidence of a crime.
Loud music lands man in jail after officers field complaint
2. A neighbor of a residence on the 3000 block of South 288th Street called in to report loud music. Officers found a man alone in the apartment with the music cranked up to full volume and discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. Police transported him to the Kent Police Department.
Couple takes argument into the street near 288th
3. Officers responded to a call about a couple fighting on the sidewalk near 1917 South 288th Street. According to the report, witnesses observed the couple (a male and female) shoving each other. Federal Way police identified the couple at the scene. The report states that the man was observed raising his hand in the air as if to strike the woman. But due to some obstructions, the witnesses were unable to see if he actually struck the woman. The woman had her hands up in a defensive position, the report states. The couple retreated back into their residence when officers approached them.
Cat burglars strike FW home
4. Burglars used a rock to break a kitchen window and gain access to a home on the 33200 block of 30th Avenue South. They stole jewelry and a camera. This was the second time the same home has been broken into.
Robbers on the loose near Twin Lakes neighborhood
5. An unknown suspect forced open the front door on the 2700 block of Southwest 332nd place, removed several items and escaped, fleeing in an unknown direction.
Woman assaulted, refuses to name attacker
6. A woman, who lives on the 2100 block of Southwest 336th Place, contacted police to report that she had been attacked by another woman. The unnamed woman, she said, had tried to hit her. She told police that she has no idea who the attacker is. The victim refused medical treatment and officers documented that she initially refused to cooperate in their investigation.
Neighbor complains of stray bullet hitting his home
7. A man, who lives in an apartment complex on 32529 1st Lane Southwest, contacted Federal Way police to report that a bullet came through his exterior wall around 5 p.m. The bullet went through an interior wall and was lodged in the closet wall in the adjacent room. No one was injured, the report indicated. Officers went next door to 32520 2nd Avenue Southwest to see if the resident knew anything about the situation. Officers wanted to question the neighbor because they determined that the residence was the most likely origin of the shot based on bullet trajectory. No one at the neighbor's house answered the door or the telephone.
Stereo thieves strike car for the second time, victim says
8. A man came into the station to report that unknown thieves broke into his vehicle and stole various items. The man, who drives a 2002 Mazda, told police that the incident occurred overnight while his car was parked at the Crosspoint Apartment complex at 35810 16th Avenue South. The man reported that the thieves smashed the driver's side window and inflicted $2,100 in damage to the interior of the Mazda when they ripped out the CD player and DVD player from the dash. The two items carried a value of nearly $300 and $150, respectively. The victim believes the incident is related to a previous attempted break-in that occurred a week earlier at his apartment complex. A similar incident occurred, but the man was able to interrupt the thieves during the break-in. He told police in his report that he believes the stereo thieves returned to "finish the job."
