Ballard Beavers annual football camp
Summer is just around the corner and that means it's time for the Seventh Annual Ballard Youth Football Camp from June 12 to 16 at Ballard High School.
The camp is for youngsters ages seven to 14 and takes place each day from 3:45-5:30 p.m.
Coaches from Ballard High will work directly with participants who will learn the basics of blocking, tackling, passing, catching, kicking and other techniques in a safe, non-contact environment.
The fundamental offensive and defensive drills used by the Beavers will be taught. This year John Fields from the Everett Hawks indoor football league will be the special guest coach.
The cost for the five-day camp is $60. This includes instruction and insurance. The first 60 kids to register receive a free camp t-shirt.
Make checks payable to the Ballard Booster Club. Send a completed registration form (www.ballardfootball.com) and fee to: Ballard High School, Alex Barashkoff, 1418 N.W. 65th St., Seattle, WA 98117 or call 252-1000.
