Spirits and demons amuck

Sounding intoxicated, a man called 911 several times and told operators that an assassin had shot people in a nearby apartment. The arriving officer noticed that the man was spitting food and sweating as he told the story of the spirit who had come to him with the news of the murder. He pointed to the apartment (which was empty). Before he was taken to Harborview for observation, he told the officer that the spirit comes to him at night and puts bugs in his nose, worms in his legs, and steals his combs and toothbrushes.
A man walked into a business south of the Junction, punched a woman in the back and said that demons told him to kill everyone. Two witnesses subdued the man, and one of them was stabbed in the chest with a stick. The suspect, who carried a screwdriver in his pocket, was transported to Harborview for a mental commitment.
A little further south, raised voices and threats again brought officers to the Church of the Nazarene at 42nd and Juneau, where a visitor carrying a large stick threatened to _bust up_ a man living in the church basement. The suspect had left the area by the time officers arrived.
The con man with the bad teeth is approaching elderly people for rides again, most recently in the Admiral Safeway parking lot. Sharp-eyed citizens intervened when they saw the suspect trying to flag down elderly drivers. The suspect, a black male in his 50s, eventually walked eastbound on Admiral Way. Near SW Olga he climbed into a light blue Saturn and drove away.
Saturday afternoon, seven young people_four male and three female_worked as a team to rob a Westwood Village store of over $350 in merchandise. Employees were tipped off and tried to block their escape but weren_t successful. Suspects with distinctive features include a pregnant black female with long hair who wore a red maternity shirt and a 6_4_ black male with a black do-rag, gray baseball hat and gray jersey. They fled the scene in a green 90s Honda Accord and a white mid-sized American four-door with _rounded lines._ They remain at large.
On Sunday at Westwood Village, two boys were confronted by other teens who stole their bikes and helmets.
A 23-year-old clerk at a local convenience store was booked into King County Jail for investigation of unlawful sale of liquor to a 17-year-old. The officer recommends that the teen buyer be charged with unlawful possession of the substance. The three other juveniles, who were sitting in the buyer_s car, possibly hoping to quench their thirst, were released.
A local man was approached in the Jefferson Square parking lot by a man who asked for help with financial matters having to do with giving away a large amount of charitable funds he couldn_t take back to his home country. The would-be victim recognized the spiel as a scam and refused to participate. The suspects are two black males, 35-40. Both had an accent. One wore a tie, fanny pack and glasses. The other had a slight limp and carried a briefcase.
Stopped for a minor traffic infraction near 28th and Genesee, the driver was cited. But his passengers were both booked into King County Jail. One had an outstanding warrant for displaying a weapon. The other was carrying a vial of PCP, two handguns (one stolen), two digital scales, crack cocaine, a knife with a 5-inch blade, and $440. He will be investigated for drug and weapons charges.
Saturday morning, a man robbed the US Bank at the Junction, fleeing with nearly $2,300.
