Unknown person makes smashing entrance

1. A woman at 2435 South 273rd Place reported to police that while she was in a rear room, someone came along and kicked in her front door. Police took photos and noted that the damage matched a kick. The woman reported that she has no known enemies.
Officers sniff out a crime
2. Two juveniles and one adult male were arrested at the Metro Transit Station (31621 23rd Avenue South) for possession of illegal inhalants and unlawful inhalation. The adult gave police a fake name and was double booked for that offense.
Honda swiped at the grocery store
3. A white 1995 Honda was stolen from Top Foods at 31515 20 Avenue South. Officers have no witnesses or evidence and have closed the case pending new leads.
Domestic dispute brings in police
4. Police were called to Forest Cove Apartments (30933 17th Ave South) on a domestic abuse call. The suspect claimed that she assaulted the woman at that residence because she thought the woman was having an affair with her husband.
Disagreement turns violent
5. Two people got into a fight at 28810 Military Road South, during which the two significantly damaged the others' vehicle. Both were arrested for Assault 4 and Malicious Mischief.
Girl missing
A father reporter his daughter missing after she told him she was spending the night at a friend's house. When he checked up on her later, she was not where she was supposed to be.
Officers break-up mother-daughter fight
6. Police reported to a 911 hang-up call from a residence at 144 Southwest 332nd Place. When officers arrived at the scene, they heard shouting and saw a window screen being pulled off. They interceded, and arrested a daughter who was assaulting her mother.
Woman files potentially false rape report
A woman filed a report saying that she was allegedly raped by an unknown black man who demanded sexual favors after providing her with methamphetamine. Checks of the surrounding units revealed no men. The alleged victim was intoxicated and later stated that she did not remember where the rape had taken place, and that she was upset because her boyfriend was arrested a few hours earlier on a warrant.
Man points to ex as possible dognapper
7. A man at 4415 Southwest 335th Street reported that his dog is missing. He suspects his ex-girlfriend took the dog, as they bought it together while dating.
Tool thief on the loose
8. A resident at 2211 South Star Lake Road submitted a report online, saying that she left her garage door open. During the night, thieves entered her garage and stole a DeWalt yellow radial saw and a Porter-Cable brad nailer.
Child's bike stolen
9. The residents of 32428 21st Avenue South reported that their child's white RedLine bicycle was stolen out of their open garage
Backpack stolen at LaserQuest
10. A man reported that his backpack was stolen from one of the party rooms at LaserQuest (2210 South. 320th Street). Inside the backpack was his Bank of America debit card, along with his PIN. His card was used to make fraudulent deposits/withdraws totaling $1600. B of A said he was not responsible for the charges, but admonished him for leaving his bank card with his pin.
