Chr. Faith 34, Sea. Luth. 6
Christian Faith Center prevailed over Seattle Lutheran in Class B action Saturday, Oct. 7.
Cameron Savani scored four touchdowns for Christian Faith, on a 3-yard run, an 8-yard run, a 9-yard run and a 35-yard pass from J.J. Willis. Willis scored the last touchdown on a 21-yard run.
Christian Faith was successful on two conversions., Willis passed to Josh Brown for the first and Savini ran for two after the other.
Evergreen 27, Renton 7
Evergreen kept its undefeated status against the Indians in a Saturday, Oct. 7 game.
Kyle Tunney scored on a 36-yard run to get the Wolverines started and Peter Santie kicked the extra point.
Renton tied the game at 7-7, then Evergreen went ahead again on a Tobias Togi 2-yard run before halftime. Santie kicked for that extra point, and he did the same after a 5-yard score by Togi in the third quarter. Vincent Cordova scored the final touchdown the Wolverines scored on a 78-yard pass from Luther Leonard. The PAT kick was blocked, but Evergreen still held on for the victory.
Tyee 26, Lindbergh 13
Lindbergh slipped ahead, 6-0, on two field goals by the end of the first half Thursday, but the Totems came roaring back.
Tanner Ingraham scored on a 6-yard run and the kick for the extra point failed, then Lindbergh took the lead on a 50-yard run and a PAT kick. Tyee did all of the scoring in the fourth quarter.
Mike Snyder scored on a 4-yard run and Eddie Plata made the kick. Kasper Myers then recovered a fumble in the end zone and Plata made the kick again. Malcom Garrison caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Caleb Tuani. The kick for the PAT failed.
Hazen 35, Highline 12
Anthony Watkins scored both of Highline's touchdowns Thursday, the first on a 17-yard run and the second on an 80-yard kick return.
Foster 40, Vashon 8
The Bulldogs scored 20 points in the second quarter to take control for good Friday.
Nick Rodriguez struck on a 1-yard run and Jamari Hymes kicked the PAT to get things started. Brian Hill then scored on a 32-yard Rodriguez pass and Hymes kicked the extra point, and Dale Griffith struck on a 9-yard run with the extra point failing.
Renton 55, Mt. Rainier 6
The Rams points came on a 67-yard run by Dionte Cadogan in the fourth quarter, with a two-point conversion attempt failing.
Chr. Faith 22, Quilcene 20
Christian Faith Center of SeaTac came away with the win in a back-and-forth Class B game Friday.

Mt. Vernon Tournament
Kennedy reached the championship match of the Saturday, Oct. 7 tournament held at Mount Vernon only to take a 28-26, 25-23 loss to La Conner.

Seattle Christian scored a 25-13, 25-12, 25-18 victory over visiting Chimacum Monday, Oct. 9.
Megan Collier recorded five blocks and five aces as Melissa Collier had seven blocks and five aces. Lydia Huget had nine kills and Annika Linman 15 assists and three aces.

Foster flew past Washington last Monday, 25-23, 25-18, 25-13.
Mt. Rainier 3, Evergreen 2
Mount Rainier racked up a 25-11,13-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-13 victory over the Wolverines on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Lorrin Rondeau had two aces, seven digs and six kills for the Rams and Luu Pham three digs and 11 kills. Melissa Yapp threw in 13 kills, five digs, four blocks and an ace. Sara Kochel had 28 assists, three digs and two aces and Christy Loftus had three digs. Chelsea Miller had four kills and one block and Brittany Copenhaver four kills as Eva Ghirmai had five digs and three aces.

The Lancers swept all three matches from the Totems last Tuesday, 25-2, 25-6, 25-12.
Ashley Eneliko had four kills and Rachel Moran 18 assists as Stephanie Slatt scored 10 aces, Angela Smith six kills and Brittany Montgomery five kills.

Highline hammered Renton by a 25-16, 25-14, 25-13 score Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Lynette Owusu tallied 10 kills for the Pirates and Lyuda Kozodoy had six as Shannyn Fisher had five kills. Kiana Sua contributed nine digs, Catie Vigen five kills and five digs, and Julia Vigen 16 assists.

The Eagles of Des Moines defeated Rainier Christian in a lengthy match last Tuesday, 26-24, 25-23, 23-25, 20-25, 15-8.

Cascade Christian sunk Seattle Christian last Wednesday, Oct. 10 by a 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 score.
Megan Collier had seven blocks for SCS while Lydia Huget had six kills, 20 digs and five aces and Annika Linman 19 assists. Kirstin Segale swept up 14 digs.

Brittany Copenhaver had four digs and four kills and Chelsea Miller four kills. Sara Kochel scored three aces, one dig and nine assists and Christy Loftus seven digs. Luu Pham had three aces, seven digs, one block and one kill and Lorrin Rondeau one ace, four digs and three kills.

The Lancers sank the Pirates Thursday by a 25-12, 25-9, 25-18 score Thursday. Ashley Eniko had seven kills and two blocks and Rachel Moran 25 assists, three aces and four digs. Stephanie Slatt had seven kills and two blocks and Kailey Hutchinson seven kills.

The Wolverines were 25-8, 25-13, 25-18 winners Thursday.
Naomi Afereti contributed five kills and five aces and Tiare Faletogo 14 assists and six aces. Keilah Fanene scored 12 kills, 12 digs, six blocks and 12 assists and Amy Gambill had seven kills, five blocks and 12 assists. Seutasia Hofoka scored 12 digs and Holly Johnson 10 assists. Manuia Keni had seven aces, Tiera Linear seven kills and six blocks, Erene Togi five kills and 15 digs and Stephanie Truong 12 digs.

Kennedy 7, Tyee 0
Ashley Engel and Liza Zurn split the shutout on goal for the Lancers in Tuesday, Oct. 10 action.
Katy Dunphy was assisted by Amanda Arntz to get things started in the third minute and Riley Boblenz scored on a Dunphy assist in the fifth minute. Laissa Nuss then struck unassisted before Boblenz was assisted by Dunphy again. Brittany Gannaw was assisted by Jackie Thomas in the 40th minute and Thomas scored unassisted before assisting Gannaw.
Highline 8, Renton 0
Stephanie Hoag and Jane Connelly shared the shutout for the Pirates Tuesday, Oct. 10. Kaitlyn Heinsohn opened by scoring on a Connelly assist before Connelly struck unassisted and Heinsohn scored on a Donetelli assist. Donetelli was assisted by Kaily Burton, and Heinsohn then opened the second half with a goal that was assisted by Donetelli and Julie Stahnke.
Norma Lomeli then put in a Maddie Guidos assist and Burton on an Estelle Hage assist. Lomeli scored the last goal on another Guidos assist.

The Rams shut out Evergreen in action last Tuesday.
SCS 2, Ch. Wright 0
Tianna Homad and Lisa Leudeman both scored for the Warriors last Tuesday and Hannah Kane had the shutout.

The Bulldogs took a shutout loss Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Kennedy 3, Highline 3
Kaitlyn Heinsohn scored unassisted in the ninth minute for Highline Thursday and Laissa Nuff answered for JFK with a score off an Amanda Arntz assist in the 23rd minute. Heinsohn struck on a Wagner assist in the 33rd minute and Julia Besagno on a Nuss assist for JFK in the 34th minute. Kennedy's Arntz scored on a Siera Miller assist in the 56th minute. Highline tied it up to stay with a Kayci Donatelli score on a Wagner assist in the 79th.

The Totems were shut out by the Highlanders Thursday.

Jeff Nelson took first place for the Pirates with a round of 38 and teammates Daniel Duncan and Brendan Gardner-Young took second and third at 43. Bryce Gustafson scored a 45 for fourth.
Mt. Rainier 70, Kennedy 60
Kennedy's Sean Narby earned medalist honors last Wednesday, Oct. 11 with his round of 37 at par-36 Riverbend.
Adam Caudillo and Brian Alexander both turned in rounds of 39 for Mount Rainier while Philip Horton shot a 40, Rex Fugere a 41 and David Waingrow a 42.
Girls golf
Mt. Rainier 126, Kennedy 84
Stephanie Corey shot a 37 to win medalist honors for Mount Rainier. Kelsey Berg was next with a 46.

Rachel Fullington of Evergreen took first place last Monday with a round of 49.

Nicole Wammer captured second in last Monday's action with her round of 55.

Seattle Christian went into overtime before taking a loss last Tuesday, Oct. 10.
Nick Stubberfield scored the Warriors' only goal in the 75th minute on a Corey Peterson assist.
SCS 2, Bellevue Chr. 1
Cory Peterson scored an unassisted goal in the seventh minute Friday and Sam Holland struck on another unassisted play in the 32nd minute.
Cross country
Kennedy
Both JFK teams came up short against both opponents Wednesday, Oct. 11.
The boys took an 18-45 loss to Hazen and Renton defeated the Lancers, 17-46. On the girls side, Kennedy lost, 15-49, to Renton and 17-46 to Hazen.
D.J. Toulouse took eighth in the boys race in 17:50. No girls made the top 10.
Evg.-Highline-MR-Tyee
The four Highline district public schools went up against each other Thursday.
Highline outscored Evergreen, 16-47, in boys action and also topped Mount Rainier, 27-29, and Tyee, 15-49. Mount Rainier beat Evergreen, 17-46, Tyee, 15-48. Tyee won 25-30 over Evergreen.
Ryan Prentice of Mount Rainier finished first in the individual race in a time of 16:11.
On the girls side, Mount Rainier was a 22-37 winner over Highline. Mount Rainier and Highline both bested Evergreen and Tyee by forfeit.
Highline's Julia Miller won the individual race in 21:24.

Highline 142, Tyee 23
Highline won the 200 medley relay in 2 minutes, 16.10 seconds Thursday and Eryn Phelan took the 200 free in 2:50.20. Megan Low won the 200 IM for the Pirates in 2;34.21 and Kalli Salo the 50 free in 32.20. Emily Howell-Forbes won diving with 150.2 points and Brenda Foster won the 100 fly in 1:13.54. Low took the 100 free in 1:06.74 and Ashle Hamblen won the 500 free in 7:12.68. Highline took the 200 free relay in 2:06.21 and Beth Cate won the 100 back in 1:03.10. Jesann Spani won the 100 breast in 1:27.81 and Highline took the 400 free relay in 4:58.40.
