Highline's incumbent Democratic legislators were overwhelmingly re-elected in Tuesday's election.
In unofficial election night results from King County Elections, 11th District Rep. Zack Hudgins, running unopposed for Position 1, received 8,956 votes (98.10 percent.)
In Position 2, incumbent Bob Hasegawa received 8,460 votes (72.12 percent) while his Republican opponent John Potter received 3,250 votes (27.71 percent.)
In the 33rd District senate race, Karen Keiser received 8,482 votes (63.32 percent) and Republican challenger Karen Steele received 4,899 votes (36.57 percent.)
For District 33, Position 1, Shay Schual-Berke received 8,866 voters (66.64 percent) and Republican Mike Cook received 4,416 votes (33.19 percent.)
Dave Upthegrove ran unopposed for Position 2 in the 33rd District. He received 9,924 votes (97.91 percent.)
In the District 34 senate race, Erik Poulsen received 16,558 votes (79.33 percent) while his Republican challenger Paul Byrne received 4,294 votes (20.57 percent.)
In 34th District, Position 1, Eileen L. Cody received 15,805 votes (77.36 percent) and Republican James K. Nickerson received 4,605 votes (22.54 percent.)
In the District 34, Position 2 race, Joe McDermott received 16,386 votes (79.55 percent) while his Republican opponent Savun Neang received 4,187 votes (20.33 percent.)
