Does the Metro bus system have the right to usurp the on-street parking spaces north of the Sixth Avenue Southwest entrance to the Burien Library?
I have noted only one bus at a time using this large space. Often the parking lot is full and people are waiting for available spaces. When the handicapped spaces are full these close-to-the-entrance spaces are crucial. There is a painted curb and signage preventing cars from parking there.
Why don't the busses proceed to 146th and park on either side of the street between Fourth and Sixth Avenues Southwest? There must be other spaces where they could wait to get back on schedule.
