To the Editor:

On behalf of the Community Center Support Drive Committee, I would like to extend thanks to the generous citizens of Federal Way who made a financial donation to the new Federal Way Community Center.

We welcome the public to tour the new Center on Saturday, March 31st, beginning at 10:30 a.m.. Individuals, businesses and service organizations donating $1000 or more will be acknowledged at an early morning ceremony, and their names will be engraved and mounted within the building. For the many who made a smaller donation, we thank you and will print your names on a special insert inside the program distributed at the Grand Opening.

Individuals, businesses and organizations may still make a contribution. Contact Mary Faber at the City of Federal Way at 253-835-6920. All donations are tax-deductible.

Federal Way citizens- children, teens, adults and seniors- will benefit from this beautiful new public gathering place as they pursue physical fitness and mental and social stimulation through class/group activity. Rain or shine, a sense of well-being and camaraderie among participants will spread beyond the center itself, enhancing the entire Federal Way Community.
