The graffiti scribblers struck again in Lakewood Park, possibility on a Sunday evening, defacing the restrooms and picnic shelters. These units had recently been pressure washed and re-painted.
Painting out the graffiti is not a deterrent as graffiti scribblers keep repeating.
Video cameras we feel are the only solution to identify these culprits.
Costco has a recording unit with four video cameras for around $1,400. These cameras could be mounted high on surrounding trees, and using a steel cable with an attaching video cable could easily be run from the tree to the building that was designed for a lifeguard station to house the recording device.
The cost would be a lot cheaper than painting out the scribblers' vandalism.
