On May 8, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Federal Way police officers were dispatched to the 32900 block of 39th Avenue Southwest in reference to a report of a sexual assault allegation.

When officers arrived they spoke with the victim, a female juvenile, who reported being fondled by a male teacher at the Twin Lakes Elementary School located at 4400 Southwest 320th Street in Federal Way.

The allegation was forwarded to the Federal Way Criminal Investigations Section for further investigation.

Federal Way Investigators arrested the suspect, a 52 year old male faculty member who is employed at the Twin Lakes Elementary School, on May 9, at approximately 8:50 a.m.

The suspect was booked in the King County Jail in Seattle and faces charges of Child Molestation First Degree; a Class A Felony against a child under the age of twelve.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Federal Way Police Department has no further information pertaining to this incident at this time.
