Don't elect Obama
Mon, 05/05/2008
We are now well on the way towards November and the election of the next President of the USA. All are promising change and for Barack Obama we even have something called "hope."
In my case I "hope" he is not elected for the following reasons:
...Lifetime voting record of Pro-Choice and the only US Senator to vote against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act
...Promised the Homosexual Community he would seek to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act, causing my tax dollars to support same-sex benefits and force the military to allow homosexuals to serve openly
...Promised the Homosexual Community he would sign the Employment Non Discrimination Act forcing businesses to defend themselves if they don't hire an avowed homosexual--same for Hate Crimes. Legislation, putting at risk anyone, including churches, which preach that such behavior is sinful
...Promised the Homosexual Community that grade-schoolers will be taught that their lifestyle is OK and to force women to register for the draft
...His opinion is that the Constitution is a "living" document and it and we need to change with the times. Judges who agree may get to the Supreme Court; those who don't, won't
...Oh, Boy...taxes...Universal Health Care, free college and other income redistributions that I personally have no desire to contribute to or "help" others
...Wants Constitutional rights for captured terrorists, same as us citizens. Skipped a Senate vote that denounced the Move-On.org ad against General Petraeus (General BetrayUS)--remember that, Obama people??
...Wants open borders and favors granting citizenship to those who commit crimes. He voted against a measure to deny legal status to immigrants convicted of crimes against children, felonies etc. Voted against making English the official language and is in favor of driver's licenses for illegals
Now, Hillary Clinton is cut from much of the same cloth and John McCain bears watching, also. It has been said that the current Republican Party is where the Democrats were 50-60 years ago and the current Democratic Party has morphed into a philosophy of Marxism/Socialism with it's inherent ideas of income redistribution, taxing the "rich" (who provide the brains and jobs for most of us--the idea that it is the job of government to take care of everyone and that government can do it better than the private sector, parents etc...)
Not 100% sure who I will vote for, yet, but am 100% sure that it won't be Senator Obama or Senator Clinton.
Remember, there is room on the ballot for write-ins if you are not satisfied with anyone!!
