The Northwest Design Review Board will hold its second public meeting Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. at Ballard High School to discuss the design of a proposal to build an eight-story structure with 261 residential units above about 32,000 square feet of retail space.
The applicant, developer, will present information about the proposed design and how it responds to stated design guidelines. Previous meetings on this project were held in March and December 2007. This is the public's opportunity to provide input on the design of the building.

At 6:30 p.m., Jan. 26, the Northwest Design Review Board will hold a public meeting at Ballard High to discuss a proposal for two structures.
The first structure is a four-story building with 22 residential units above about 700 square feet of commercial space at the ground level.
The second structure is a two-unit residential townhouse style building. Parking for 24 vehicles would be below grade. Existing single-family buildings to be demolished.
