Heavy rains continued their deluge on Bumbershoot 2009 during day three of the festival.
Umbrellas and plastic ponchos covered most of the audience at the outdoor stages.
But, the weather didn't seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the hordes of festival-goers streaming into Memorial Stadium for the Black Eyed Peas' afternoon set. And, volunteers at the indoor visual arts exhibits said they were busier than ever.
The sun, itself, even made one or two appearances to great effect, most notably during Delhi 2 Dublin's set on the Fisher Green Lawn, where the multicultural band led the large crowd in a cheer to the improving weather.
