The Phinney Neighborhood will celebrate Mexican style on Friday, Nov. 6 with Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) parade and festival.
It will start with a candlelight procession, which begins and ends at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., departing at 6:30 p.m.

6:15 p.m. Procession lead by the Musicians and Dancers of VamoLa! Procession line-up in the PNA parking lot (6532 Phinney Ave. N.) begins at 6:15; music starts at 6:20. Procession ends at 7 p.m.
6:30 p.m. Procession departs from PNA. Route: North on Phinney Avenue North; West on 70th Avenue Northwest; South on Greenwood Avenue North. Procession will end at the PNA.
7:05-7:15 p.m. Blessing of community altar on the landing of the stairs in the main (blue) PNA building by Raul Sanchez.
7-9 p.m. Gallery show reception, musical performances, poetry reading, community altar additions, paper flower making, sugar skull decorating. Hot chocolate and food will be sold to benefit the PNA's new Spanish immersion pre-school.
7:30-8 p.m. Dance and Drumming by Aztec Dancers of the Salinas Family. Search for The Salinas Family Performance in Room 7.
8-8:30 p.m. Poetry Reading by members of Los Nortenos. Reading in Room 1.
8:15-8:45 p.m. Musical Performance by Trio Lucero del Norte. Performance in Room 7.
