Boys basketball
Foster opens its season with a 2 p.m. Saturday home game against Franklin before dropping in on Cleveland at 7:15 p.m. Monday.
At 7:15 p.m. Tuesday it will be O'Dea at Chief Sealth, Ingraham at West Seattle and Ballard at Rainier Beach.
Girls basketball
Foster is at Cleveland for a 5:45 p.m. opener Monday.
Highline opens at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at home against Lincoln of Seattle.

Seattle makes a Monday Night Football appearance this week, visiting Washington D.C. for a 5:15 p.m. game on Channel 7 and ESPN television.

Seattle hosts Carolina for 7 p.m. National Hockey League action Wednesday before visiting Tampa Bay at 4 p.m. Friday, Florida at 3 p.m. Saturday and Buffalo at 4 p.m. Monday.

The Kamloops Blazers come to the Showare Center in Kent to play Seattle's Western Hockey League team at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday and the Tri-City Americans invade at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

Apple Cup
It's Apple Cup time in the state of Washington.
The University of Washington football team will host cross state rival Washington State University for the annual clash at 5 p.m. Friday.

Husky men's soccer
Mount Rainier graduate Christian Soto and the UW advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 this coming Saturday, hosting Indiana for a 5 p.m. match.
The Huskies were 3-0 winners over Portland this past Sunday.

Washington hosts Washington State at 1p.m. Saturday on Pac-12WA.
Husky men's basketball
Washington plays Nevada at 4 p.m. Wednesday at a tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D. with ESPN+ showing the game live.

The UW visits the Bahamas for action this week, playing VCU at noon Thursday and North Carolina at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Washington State hosts Eastern Washington for a 4:30 p.m. game on Saturday that can be seen on Pac-12WA.

WSU plays Miami at 1p.m. Thursday in the Bahamas and North Carolina State there at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Gonzaga plays Duke at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Las Vegas.
