Baseball

Chief Sealth travels to Chehalis to take on W.F. West on its home field in 10 a.m. Saturday Class 2A state regional action.

Ballard battles Shorewood in a Class 3A game scheduled for 1 p.m. at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue as West Seattle goes to Lincoln of Tacoma to play Gig Harbor in another.

Kennedy Catholic also plays in a 1 p.m. contest, going to West Valley of Yakima to face Richland in a Class 4A state regional.

Winners of all the above games play again on the same fields about 4 p.m. to see who advances to state semifinals the following Friday.

Fastpitch softball

Ballard opens state Class 3A tournament action with an 11 a.m. Friday game against Monroe at the Regional Athletic Center in Lacey.

Evergreen launches out into the state Class 2A tournament at 9 a.m. that day at Carlon Park in Selah near Yakima.

Winners of both games play again at 3:30 p.m. and the losers play again at 1:30 p.m.

Both tournaments run through Saturday.

Pros

Mariners

Seattle is in Houston for 5:10 p.m. action against the Astros this Friday ahead of 1:10 p.m. Saturday and 11:10 a.m. Sunday games.

The Mariners come home to T-Mobile Park to take on the Washington Nationals at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Sounders

Seattle entertains Dallas for a noon Saturday match at Lumen Field before hosting Dallas there at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Reign

The Seattle women's soccer team plays host to the Washington Spirit for a 7 p.m. Friday clash at Lumen Field.

Storm

Seattle gets a 7 p.m. Friday visit from Phoenix at the Climate Pledge Arena and a 3 p.m. Sunday visit from Las Vegas.

The Storm flies to Minnesota for a 5 p.m. Tuesday game.

Seawolves

Seattle hosts Houston for 7:30 p.m. Friday rugby action at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila.

Rainiers

Tacoma is in El Paso playing the Chihuahuas in 5:35 p.m. games Friday and Saturday and in a 5:05 p.m. Sunday contest 

The Rainiers come home to Cheney Stadium to face Salt Lake at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 7:05 p.m. Thursday.

Aquasox

Everett is scheduled for a 6:35 p.m. Friday game at Hillsboro ahead of 4:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:05 p.m. Sunday action.

The Aquasox return to Funko Field for a 4:05 p.m. Monday game against Spokane ahead of 7:05 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday action.
