A personal injury collision involving three cars occurred on Southbound I-5 near the West Seattle Freeway (milepost 163) on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 12:11:23. The collision began when Vehicle 1, a 2003 tan Toyota Camry sedan, was merging onto southbound I-5 from the West Seattle Freeway in Lane 1 of four. Vehicle 1 subsequently hydroplaned and traveled across the southbound lanes of I-5.
Vehicle 2, a 2022 white Toyota Tacoma pickup, was traveling in Lane 2 when it struck Vehicle 1. Immediately following, Vehicle 3, a 2016 grey Honda Fit hatchback traveling in Lane 3, overcorrected and subsequently struck Vehicle 2.
Following the impacts, Vehicle 1 came to rest facing the wrong way in Lane 4. Vehicle 2 also came to rest facing the wrong way, obstructing Lanes 3 and 4, while Vehicle 3 came to rest in Lane 3.
Injuries and Vehicle Status
One individual was injured in the incident and transported to Harborview Medical Center (HMC). The injured person was identified as Mykaila L. Lessley, a 25-year-old female passenger from Everett, WA, who was riding in Vehicle 1. The WSP memo notes that Ms. Lessley was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of Vehicle 1, Dion R. Vinson (35, Seattle, WA), was reported as not injured, though he was also reportedly not wearing a seatbelt. The drivers of the other vehicles—Ricardo N. Platero Miranda (46, Seattle, WA) of Vehicle 2, and Amber N. Glover (38, Tacoma, WA) of Vehicle 3—were reported as not injured and were confirmed to be wearing seatbelts.
All three involved vehicles were reported to be totaled following the crash. Towing services were handled by Cheap Towing for Vehicles 1 and 3, and ABC Towing for Vehicle 2.
