Unofficial election results released tonight reflect the votes counted as of Election Day, November 04, 2025. Across King County, 292,499 ballots have been counted, representing a 20.26% turnout of the 1,443,842 registered voters.
These are preliminary, unofficial totals. The King County Elections office is scheduled to release updates each weekday at 4 p.m. until the final certification of results on November 25.
Local races in Seattle and Burien, along with legislative contests in the 34th Legislative District, showed decisive early leads in several high-profile contests.

Seattle Races Show Clear Mayoral and Attorney Leads
In the City of Seattle, where 118,043 ballots have been counted (23.36% turnout), two key citywide races appear to have definitive early frontrunners.
Bruce Harrell currently leads the race for Seattle Mayor with 53.32% of the vote (62,086 votes), ahead of challenger Katie Wilson, who has 46.18% (53,767 votes).
For Seattle City Attorney, Erika Evans holds a substantial lead, garnering 62.54% (70,727 votes) compared to Ann Davison’s 37.16% (42,031 votes).
Key Seattle City Council results also show significant leads:
• Council District No. 2: Eddie Lin leads with 68.61% (9,635 votes) over Adonis Ducksworth's 30.99% (4,352 votes).
• Council Position No. 8: Alexis Mercedes Rinck holds 78.75% (85,024 votes) compared to Rachael Savage’s 20.53% (22,162 votes).
• Council Position No. 9: Dionne Foster leads with 57.92% (64,970 votes) against Sara Nelson, who has 41.65% (46,726 votes).
Seattle voters also appear to be approving both city propositions. Proposition No. 1 is passing with 76.71% (87,927 votes) supporting it. Proposition No. 2 is also passing, with 67.76% (76,977 votes) cast in the "Yes" column.

Burien Council Contests and Proposition
The City of Burien saw 5,454 ballots counted, reflecting a 17.91% turnout of its 30,454 registered voters.
The four contested City Council races currently show the following leaders:
• Council Position No. 1: Hugo Garcia leads Jessica Ivey, 53.73% (2,740 votes) to 45.00% (2,295 votes).
• Council Position No. 3: Sam Méndez is ahead with 56.49% (2,909 votes) over Marie Barbon's 42.64% (2,196 votes).
• Council Position No. 5: Sarah Moore holds a dominant lead with 62.30% (3,224 votes) against Gabriel Fernandez, who has 36.89% (1,909 votes).
• Council Position No. 7: Rocco DeVito is ahead with 53.45% (2,743 votes), leading Stephanie Mora at 45.67% (2,344 votes).
Burien's Proposition No. 1 is currently on track to be rejected, with 52.65% (2,743 votes) voting "No," compared to 47.35% (2,467 votes) voting "Yes".

34th Legislative District Results
In the 34th Legislative District, which includes portions of Seattle and Burien, 23,144 ballots have been counted, representing a 21.23% turnout. Both legislative races appear to be non-competitive, with Democratic candidates running largely unopposed:
• State Senator: Emily Alvarado (Prefers Democratic Party) has secured 96.81% (17,151 votes).
• Representative Position No. 1: Brianna K. Thomas (Prefers Democratic Party) leads with 96.86% (16,862 votes).
